Wondered what your thoughts were with regards to Marco's tactics.

Marco currently plays Sig in the space behind the forward. Although Sig's goal return and assists are way up there, I still think he is hardly ever in the game and it's such a waste of a player. Would it be worth dropping him deeper next to Gomes so that they can complement each other and in turn help us control the game a lot more efficiently? you then have more defensive stability with Gana sat behind them doing what he does best, and that is very much required at this moment in time.

Even if we win nothing changes. We need at least 3 wins on the bounce to make any further momentum. We have no prolific striker. If we lose tonight, Silva is in serious trouble. Everton v Wolves at home will be a toxic atmosphere if he's still there and we go 1-0 down.

Marco Silva Huddersfield press conference highlights:

We are disappointed with letting in the set piece goals vs Milwall. We were aware they would use that tactic and we practiced it for hours in training but in the game the players weren't aggressive enough.
95% of teams use zonal marking in them situations and it's up to the players to focus and take responsibility in those situations.
I wont point fingers in public. What i said stays in the dressing room.

It's hard. I analysed all the moments and all the players knew what would happen.

We win and lose as a team.

Moshi and Bill been in contact a lot recently. We look forward to the games but big fights must come now.

Everton is a big club. Its a big job and I'm here to change many things.

We dont know yet but there could be a new formation for Huddersfield. It will be hard.

VAR should be in all fames in the cup. It's not fair ... next time it could be Millwall.

We have feedback after games with the players and bigger discussions two days later.

I know what this club needs and it's not just about spending money. Buying new players doesn't always mean you're doing well.

I'm not happy with the last 6 weeks but I won't panic. I know what needs to be done. I will do the right thing.

We have turned down an offer for Gueye. For that money for that player I don't see the value. The club would have to spend a lot to replace him. He's a very important player for us.
yes, and what you say appears to stay in the dressing room...because the players look clueless once they reach the pitch...

I think a flat 3 in midfield would be my preference as it seems to be where we are being overun, problem is Gylfi hsn't looked great further back and Gomes is struggling. We are short on players and even shorter on confidence, going to be a long end of season if you ask me.
