True true. However, I would like to hear where your figure came from.

Other posters above. I have a terrible memory, off top of my head I can think of Liverpool, Newcastle, Norwich, Reading, Fulham, all saveable goals in that game. The Reading and Fulham games Coleman's messed up too like.

I reckon Heitinga has cost us a couple, Coleman 4, based on lazy guesses and emotive thoughts. And we haven't changed the problem players out of choice, they've been forced changes due to injury. Nobody has been dropped because of a mistake that I can think of this season, which must piss Barkley off no end after that pass vs QPR last year![/QUOTE]
Defo this. And they haven't got the excuse of inexperience

Howard has been poor all season but what have we got as back up a useless mucha yet again poor management by moyes.
He should have sorted the problem in te summer.
Chris woods must have something on moyes because every goalie we have got in he has made worse.
Ruddy got away and look at him now in the england squad

Always been one to stick up for him when he's being criticised before, but he has been terrible this year. The goal v Norwich was dreadful, should of came for the cross then i have no idea how he didn't keep the header out, he seemed to lose his bearing and almost be in the side netting.

Your right,i don't think he is brave enough.
When we play the rugby teams stoke and west ham there is no way howard should be on that pitch

As much as he's generally been very good for us, he's having a stinker this year. Shaky keeper protected by a messy defence protected by a midfield that doesn't effectively help out. Recipe for conceding lots of goals, and so it's proved so far.

Did I not say that? Pretty sure I did. To say he's directly responsible for costing us 8 points is wrong though.

- Newcastle starfish jump
- Liverpool first goal
- Norwich goal
- QPR (debatable)
- Reading

I actually think he could easily get back to perfectly good form if he gets his act together, but he's been pretty bad so far this season.

Think its only fair the QPR goal should be taken out.

But totally agree with the others.

And I personally would add the Fulham goal, the ball went right across the 6 yard box.

Liverpool 1st is harsh considering his rush had the shot going wide until the own goal. Ba could have very well scored his second even if Howard stayed grounded. Defense was just as much to blame for letting him through... I'd say he should have saved the first though. QPR? Harsh. Reading was a draw until the pen was conceded. Norwich was bad.

He's having a bad season though. No doubt about that.

Howard is NOT having a bad season. He has had two bad seasons now. He has never been the same since that clanger he dropped against Blackburn.

Its really like he has forgot how to play in goal. He keeps doing some really crazy things too like diving out of the way of balls or behind the goal line. He reminds me of Heurelho Gomes these days.

He's out of form no doubt but...

Newcastle (starfish jump) - joe hart did exactly the same a week later = attacker didn't score.
Liverpool - not Howard's fault.
QPR - come on... It was a deflection not his fault.
Reading - maybe
Norwich - definitely.

Not defending his form but to accuse him to be the cause of all them goals is very harsh. I thought Neville was to blame for all those dropped points?? Or is he out of the firing line at the mo..
