how many goals has he been at fault for this season ,if i said 50 per cent id be doing him a favour ,got no faith in him what so ever

He's been stinking this season pal. He's a world class shot stopper when it comes to reflex saves but it's the basics that terrify me.

Having just seen the goal I have to say he should have dealt with it.

It's like he wasn't sure if it was in target or not which is piss poor keeping.

I say it again. We need 2 decent keepers to push each other.

He went with a soft hand for the first and should have done better but the save from Berbatov made up for that.
He may not be the best but at £3.5 million he has been a great buy and a great servant.
Tim Howard has saved more points for us than he has cost, he's just prone to the occasional cock-up.

Too many players with no pressure on them..

It was a cracking free kick but the way he dives makes it look like he thought he'd get to it easy so made some slow mo dive to show off but misjudged it.

To be honest the way he dives reminds me of a certain dive last Sunday. And i don't mean Phil Neville.

This is all in the past though. Neville Southall saved us loads, I dont want him in goal right now though.

He is costing us way too much these days and has done for the past year.

How did the routine near post save make up for the horrible mistake for the first goal?
Great servant or not, he's a liability atm.

He should have saved the free kick. If he parries it one inch further, it's no goal, so there is a bit of bad luck there. Still, shouldn't have been a goal. He was there and should have done better.

He needs to book his ideas up fast since we're conceding far too many and not all of them are mistakes from the defence. In the past he had one, maybe two errors a season and it was rare to come away from a game being able to legitimately criticise Howard but these days it seems like it's every other game that people have a good reason to have a go at him. If he continues in this vein then we should be looking to bring in some competition to either replace him or at least keep him on his toes.

A more responsible tackle and Howard would have even had to dive.

The goalie is only as good as the 10 in front of him. I mean that too. Especially the back 4. Their job is making sure the keeper isnt challenged at all. That includes not fouling in a poor position. Goes for anyone on the team.
