agreed, one bad mistake could be the difrence before 1/3 points
like it has been , not just that im sure hes done a couple of times this season
so its not like its one bad mistake, another international on the bench
give him a chance im not saying drop howard but atleest give him a go

1) All goalkeepers have howlers from time to time, most recent being Van Der Sar's against West Brom.

2) Tim's two howlers this season happened to have been punished. Sometimes a keeper has one and nothing comes of it because his defense bails him out or the other team can't quite convert. Unfortunately, Tim hasn't had that luck.

3) That said, I'm hoping he learns from both the one at Blackburn and the one today and looks to make himself better.

Howard has done well for us that said with the long ball merchants of stoke coming i do fear mistakes from him.

I don't fear Stoke, or Howard making a mistake against them.

He's normally good in the air. I just think he was nervous around Peter Crouch -- the man's just too tall. We coped with him today by sandwiching him between Jagielka and Phil Neville; hardly comfortable or orthodox.

Blackburn -- first day of the season. Cost us big that did.

But hang on, two mistakes in one season. Assuming it doesn't become a trend, I think there's nothing to worry about. He's bailed us out more times than I can count, really, so have some faith people.

This. Seriously, even Van der Sar and Casillas and Buffon, etc, have [Poor language removed] days and fcuk up from time to time... It's only human?

Completely agreed.
1) Read above.
2) We are Everton, after all. Everything we do - we do it the hard way. It's how we deal with things and you all know it.
3) He will learn, i think. He's good - always has been, and will remain to be. When any of us give him stick about how he makes a mistake - remember the times he has saved us. This season he has cost us, what - 3 or 6 points, but so far how many outstanding saves has he made? It's not something to be taken lightly. NSNO, after all.
