Simply world class. Lightning quick, ran the ball like Ronaldo, hit the ball with power and accuracy, good in the air, could cross a decent ball. One of the best players ever to grace the Premier League and probably the best outfield Everton player in the last 30 years.

He was the level of player Wayne Rooney should have become.
