I know hardly anything about Asia which lets me down badly and my tactic of putting a tick on North West Africa due to the concentration of countries doesn't always work.

I just pinned everything in the US on either NY or Washington DC. Central America is a strong point so it's all good when Guatemala comes up and the like.
