Hi guys i'm new an just doing my first post :)

I think its mad really, how Tony Hibbert getting injured against Spurs changed our season. Same as when Neville crunched Ronaldo last year.

Had he not got injured, Coleman would never have come on an changed the game.
I thought we were well beaten by Spurs and didn't look like scoring, till Coleman decided that if know one else was going to do it, he would do it. An set up 1 goal and created the 2nd. An its been a bouncing ball from there.

We now look a much better team, Alot more like the past few seasons, only stronger. Yesterday performance was the best i've seen from Everton in a long long time. An we made City look average at best. City are a good team an they will be the next big team.
I've been a bit critical of Fellaini in recent months, but yesterday he was just amazing. Best player on the field.

Lets hope we keep it going and get a win against Birmingham and Sunderland(who were pathetic yesterday).

Good first post that. I got two questions for you.

1. So you think Hibbert should be kept out of the starting 11 for the cause of the team as it is clear that we play much better without him?

2. The most famous question, "Pineapple on Pizza?":P

Welcome to GOT mate!(y)

1. Yes i do as, Altho he is a good Rb(at defending), Having him in the team would mean that Neville is moved in to the middle, an right now our midfield is working perfectly. Neville needs to be on the pitch for his leadership skills. O an his goal scoring record :P Neville is also a much better crosser of the ball.

2. Yes Pineapple on pizza is nice :) is that bad?

I'm not bashing Tony Hibbert, in fact i said he is a very good RB at defending, not the best going forward and probably better at football then 90% of Everton fans.
What i'm saying is, IF he hadn't got injured, then Coleman would never have come on an set up the goals. We may have lost the Spurs game. Basically one of our players getting injured attually helped up for a change.

Welcome to GOT by the way

Am I the first person to realise that it WASN'T HIBBERT who got injured against spurs, and replaced by coleman??

It was Yobo. Which then meant Neill was shifted to centre-back along with, guess who, TONY HIBBERT, whilst coleman filled in at right-back.

serious undue hibbert-bashing.

Your right, Hibbert gave away the pen. i was convinced it was Hibbert who went off.

Ar well all credit Hibbert got for our 7 game unbeaten run has been taken away from him. plz close the thread. Thanks
