I have heard a few stories of buying season tickets, you picked your spec, you chose the price, you paid your money, and that was that.
Unfortunately for quite a number, that wasn't that. Because the fan zone designations hadn't been applied clearly and obviously, there's a load of supporters that had picked the family area and so because their ticket didn't correspond with a junior ticket their ticket was not valid...
"but you've took my money, I want my ticket, all the others specs are sold out now, you're well out of order!"
Is this where club view got invented? The club recognised an error in ticket sales to late and had a load of disgruntled people on their hands.
"Slice up one of the corporate floors, special zones for the number that've decided to upgrade". Because...
"The club can't do anything about ticket derivations at this late hour, but we acknowledge the error in good faith, we have an upgraded option if you are interested where...(the cv stuff is sold as great value) and if your prepared to pay the extra £500 odd, you're sweet for the season in a 'premium' fan zone?"
If CV has been invented late to cover misaligned fan seat choices and then it was rolled out late, it would explain the paucity of options, the lack of segregation to their 'premium' zone (if this is the case), no escalator, and a last thought at the last minute to roll out a big enough and well staffed and stocked bar for them.
If this has occurred because of the ticket choice allocation then it speaks to a problem of website use and design to make clear the buying options.
This is only a guess, based on a few facts and stories from those that one week were happy as larry and then the week next were grumbling good n proper.
