Barry was doing a pretty good job of marking him (apart from when he lost possesion and Fellaini should have scored).
It was the right decision. As said above, he was in serious danger of losing control as was already on a yellow. 2 nil down and at risk of going down to 10 men? Right decision.
Think preventing him getting sent off. They never looked like troubling our goal after he came off, they could have pumped in crosses for a week with felli off there was no one to get on the end of them.
On a yellow and your lot obviously knows how he ticks. Chances are he would have picked up another yellow.
As others have mentioned, it was looking alarmingly likely that he would get sent off. Our players were harassing him and he was not composed.
