....apparently ahead of the game LVG specifically asked Fellaini to make sure he kept his cool. I suspect the Manager was miffed he didn't follow instruction and for that reason was taken off. You are spot on about Barry, he did a fantastic job on him.

It was the right decision. As said above, he was in serious danger of losing control as was already on a yellow. 2 nil down and at risk of going down to 10 men? Right decision.

As others have mentioned, it was looking alarmingly likely that he would get sent off. Our players were harassing him and he was not composed.

Bringing their Colombian star on was like playing with ten men, so maybe they should have kept him on. At least some time with eleven men.
