I like Barkley his flip-flop game is on point,

But, Ballack/Zidane hybrid?

Bit early to make these sort of claims.
Yes, but fans always big up their own players, especially ones that look that extra bit special. We're all guilty of doing it.
This hahaha. Ross is Boss end of. We're just chatting bubbles and looking into our 0% accurate crystal balls. For all I know the lad could end up not recovering from this injury and retire. Or he could be a really special player. Who knows really.

He reminds me of Zidane in terms of style a lot of the time. He's nowhere near that in terms of ability or achievement or whatever. But that is who he reminds me of.

Billy Beane more or less rips United as not knowing how to run a football team when talking to MenInBlazers about transfers and getting your business done late in the window

... The teams that are really prepared going into it, and have specific players that they want, seem to not only get them at the best rate... It's a year-round job, it's a year-round business... I'm surprised that teams don't accomplish what they want to accomplish early in the window while everyone else is still trying to figure it out... Looking at it from the outside, being in a similar business, it seems that the preparation going in, being ready to go from day 1, seems to be the best way of going about it...

I love how opposition supporters and journos are pooing their pants again, we've been missing that of late. This is how it started at Man City - they signed Robinho and everyone said "They don't need him, they still have rubbish like Wright Phillips and Richard Dunne in defence" etc.

Now look at them. A few more transfer windows and we're gonna be a Top 3 team again I reckon. So enjoy the present haters, we're going to be up there again in a year or two! :D

If you throw enough money at a problem, you can fix it, right?

Or you could try to fix the problem.

I can understand a City fan last year. But a Utd fan ?

I was on holiday, pissed up and our hated rivals, Liverpool, threw away the league in the most dramatic style. I was shouting at the tv whilst other blokes in the bar (Chelsea supporters, City supporters, United supporters and 1 random Brighton supporter) were jumping around like crazy when Palace equalised.

No-one wanted Pool to win the league it seems! :D
