On Saturday evening I was elated...Another win, third place on the table, and still FIVE DAYS to the end of the window...FOUR DAYS gone and ABSOLUTELY sweet fanny FALL...

Bolasie is a complete and utter waste of money.

We could have filled two positions with that money, I really cannot believe we threw all of our money at him.

We're still waiting for a second striker, still waiting for a long-term goalkeeping solution, still don't have a creative midfielder. Pretty bad all in all.

What two players could we have signed with 25 mil in todays market that would have improved our first 11?

Well, we ain't restricted to buying from England, you know?

Loads of goalkeepers could have been had for 10m-ish from abroad. Plenty of German goalkeepers around.

The remaining 15m would easily have bought a Spanish playmaker (or 17m for the Perez guy, for example).

Fair point like. But at least Bolasie never turned us down for Arsenal!

That Perez looks decent on YouTube but unproven in the prem. At least with Bolasie (although he is pretty inconsistent) hes still shown he can do it in the Prem

No doubt the fee is ridiculous like but im confident he will win us points on his own this season

It has been decent so far. I think we will push for a Europa place but may fall short at 7th or 8th.

A few more players in could push us up the table by another couple of players and maybe challenge for a Champions League place.

I've just been out and spent seven pounds and sixty four pence on bunting and balloons, so tomorrow's deadline day best be a good one or I am faxing my Asda receipt to Everton first thing Thursday morning.

I went for 3/4 out of 10....an estimation that will get much lower if targets for primary positions of need aren't landed.

I must admit, I have reached the point in the day when I really could use a decent signing being made and confirmed.
