How much sleep do you need..............

Some folk spend nearly 24/7 on here but in reality what is your average nights sleep. I normally get along with 5/6 hours whilst the wife gets nearer 8/9. My son in law thinks he need a minimum of 8 hours while my next door neighbour claims to sleep at least 10 hours a day, though not all at one time. If I doze off during the day I get as narky as hell and have a bit of a headache.

What is your average sleeping time?

I had 14 hours the other day after a weird weird night in town. Don't do that.

Couldn't do that, if its light outside I wake up, you must have had a day it bed ha ha ha

Same here. With kids waking up and wasps stinging me I probably get less.

Can function fine on 3 or 4 but usually catches up on me the second day.

6-7 I'm fine...but by Friday I'm feeling it. Usually sleep closer to 9 on Friday night.

Can function with 6, need 8 to be non aggressive. Any less than 6 and I'll either fight someone or just go and sleep somewhere during the day.

5-6 preferable on a normal day...if I get more than 7 I feel lethargic unless it was catch-up sleep.

About 6 to function normally, ideally 8. 4 hours and I find myself dozing off throughout the day.

I only get 6 or 7 hours now. I always wake up early even on weekends. Usually up at 6.30 very rarely make it to 7 am. I have to catch the worm.
