How much do we actually think we could get for the Yak?

I think the deal works out at something like £4m if he joins in the summer, and around a £1m loan fee - which we're using to fund the loan fee of Mbokani.

Essentially a straight swap? Seems likely.

To Leicester?!

A hell of a lot of crisps (potato chips to our Americans)

Walkers have come out with some aquired tastes in crisp flavours in recent times so just maybe Leicester are hoping to fund the deal in part by introducing the Yak variety pack. Only trouble is as the Yak demonstrated against Spurs his crisps would be in pieces too when it came to the crunch.

For many of the reasons njligernj mentions above it, it may likely prove one of the better deals we can get right now, as opposed to the deal we may want, given Moyes reluctance to give him game time. It is sad but not surprising that Everton are in the position they are regarding the Yak, but I believe Yak needs to rediscover his hunger as much as any fresh faces might benefit the team, if and when they arrive.
