How many will play their last game at Goodison in an Everton shirt this Sunday ?

When someone leaves work after 11 years it's usual to have a whip round for them. I think, instead of passing the hat we make a present to him of Osman and Victor. Let's see him win a title with those two

Its been a busy day, but its got me thinking of next season, and especially who we may not see play at Goodison in an Everton shirt again..

Phil Neville - We know he's gone for sure already. Moyes will miss a BIG trick if he dosent take him with him.
Mucha - Cant see him staying.
Heitinga - Cashed in whilst still of some value, wages off the bill.
Baines - The lure of Old Trafford in a World Cup year maybe too much.
Fellaini - Just hope it dosent drag on the whole summer.
Hitszleberger - Never long term.

That's 6.. That's a lot..

This isn't a doom and gloom post, Im just interested in who you lads think we wont see again ?

Phil Neville - need a midfielder replacement
Mucha - Need a goalkeeper replacement
Heitinga - Replacement: Duffy
Baines - Replacement: Oviedo
Fellaini - replacement: Barkley
Hitszleberger - Never played anyway

Phil Neville - John Lundstram
Mucha - Certain. Neither of Taudul or Springthorpe are close to ready
Heitinga - Replacement: Duffy
Baines - Replacement: Oviedo
Fellaini - replacement: Barkley
Hitszleberger - Never played anyway

I'm hoping whoever comes in starts blooding in the youngsters that have done really well in the U21s. Browning, Lundstram (with Loan Exp as well), Garbutt, Barkley, Duffy should all get more time.
You've got to wonder if Moyes' constant "over-achievement" is due to relying heavily on the small squad we've always had, or if we've been held back a bit in not resting a few of the squad players every now and then to get valuable first team experience for the youngsters.

As been noted, crucial summer for Everton, not so much in what players go where but more which manager comes into the team. I don't see any of our players as irreplaceable, bar maybe Baines (barely missed a game since he's been starting for us, and creates the most chances in Europe), but if we get 'Arry, Big Sam or any of that nonce-bunch then we might as well beg for a degradation to the Championship straight away as it will be years before we recover anything similar to even our current standard.

Most important players to keep:

Howard
Baines
Coleman
Jagielka
Distin
Baines
Mirallas
Barkley
Fellaini

The rest is replaceable.

I think Mirallas will go in the summer. I reckon a bid will come in from United.

Felli is gone, he has a release clause for 20 odd million, so we will see something for him, I think baines will go to united, and we will get 12-15 million for him, Jags will stay, and the others that will go are (imop):-

Mucha-finally
Hetinga
The hammer
Pienaar
Mirallas-20 million from aresnal
Naismith
Coleman

If we get martinez as the new gaffer I think he will try to bring in Malony, Macmanananananmaan and Macarthur from wigan and then he will scout south america lesser known hotpots like peru, bolivia and the such. Going to be a interesting summer, at least the moyes saga isnt being dragged out.

Why Mucha - finally? I think he has been a very good backup keeper for Howard!

Whilst I agree losing Baines and Fellaini would be a massive loss.
I may have over thought something. We all know DM rarely took a gamble on our youth players by recently gave Barkley a few games, perhaps he was seeing if he would be the man to run the centre of the United midfield for the next 10 years!
I truly hope not as our squad is ageing drastically and only Coleman is a young regular. I can handle losing some of the old guard but PLEASE don't take Ross.

I hope our new manager comes in a gets a grip of the aging squad we've been left with. Most are only here because they're Moyes favourites who still manage to get a wage.
The likes of Osman, Hibbert, Distin, Pienaar, Heitinga, Hitz, Jelavic, Anichibe I wouldn't be too fussed to see any of them leave and hope the majority do.

The only players I´d be sad losing are Mirallas, Coleman, Barkley and Jags. Baines also but he´s as good as gone already. The rest can go their merry way with Moyes.
