First time, Ajax, Psv and arsenal I think in the umbro cup, couple of other when I was a nipper, grandma passed away so I lost touch. Past five years: West Ham carling cup, reading, arsenal twice, Chelsea, palace, espanyol, mk Dons and Stoke at goodison. This year I have been to the most since I was a kid and a bit of spare cash means I hope I go a lot more.

It's gutting living so far away from goodison but trains are under 50 if you book far enough in advance and the experience and away games are a blast even if you get your heart broken.

I've kept a journal or diary since I was a teenager, and over the summer decided to work out how many times I've seen Everton live.

Now I'm firmly in the camp that you don't judge how big an Evertonian you are by the number of games you go to as there's so many contributory factors - affordability, location, free time, family and work commitments etc etc. So whatever the number doesn't matter, we're all born blues and that's the most important thing.

I wondered who on the site has been to the most games.

Early favourite in my estimation would be @Dario Terracotta

I'd say between 350 and 400, probably more towards the 400.

Season ticket since I was 16 (13 yrs ago) plus home friendlies, cup games, European games etc and a couple of aways per season in that time. When I was a kid, we didn't have ST then but would still go to maybe 5-10 home games a year.

First game , Swindon town 1977 , I'd say 1900 to 1940 with out rooting out every program .still way down on the list I would think .

Hundreds and I was lucky enough to be STH 83-89 (before wife n kids).

the only season ticket I managed was in 97/98. Beat Liverpool 2-0 but I couldn't go. Lucky enough to witness us lose home to Newcastle in 3rd round of FA cup Ian Rush scoring chucking down with rain and losing 4-1 away to Cov in the league cup 3rd round in the same season. Think I went to all the aways that year except the two we won. Worst season I can remember.

I have no idea, been going regularly for 10 years home and away, before that when I wasnt really old enough to go on my own it was when my arl fella could afford to take 4 of us. I literally would have to crawl through the records from Everton v's Crystal Palace when Lombardo scored to work this out.

I'll return in about 40 pages time.
