Interesting comments by Moyes:

“At times some of the things he does are strange, but we are getting to know Louis and he is getting to know us. But if he keeps playing like that he will find himself scoring plenty of goals. “He would tell you he doesn’t think he is playing as well as he can. But goals get goalscorers going and then the performances come.”

I'd agree with that. He has a different style to alot of our strikers and he seems to do everything in slow motion. That cross for example, he tooks a year to do that stepover and whip in the cross.

He's a cultured player, a very good footballer in my opinion. I don't think we've seen the best of him. 3 goals in 6 games is something to build on.

Such a good choice of word. I like a bit of mystery about my strikers I do. He does try to take people on a bit too much at the moment tho, but I think when he gets back to his level he'll just skin everyone with his funny little bits of skill.

He does, he's a little unpredictable at the moment from open play. Some excellent things followed by things that baffle me.

He's quick though, I saw that against Utd when he got into full flow a few times. I wish he'd use it more. Both him and Yakubu tend to drop a little deeper at the moment, maybe they both need someone who going to be direct like Vaughan.

I'm still hoping that the Yakubu/Saha combination will work though. When the midfield picks up and improves I think we'll see it.
