To Stones level about from here to the moon
Nowhere near good enough, doubtful imo that he can cut it in the PL

Quicker than we'd like, but at least his little cameo in the Derby shows he isn't overawed by the big occasion. We're going to find out.
Stones was part of a back four unit that last season didn't cover it's self in glory in the clean sheets dept. The view held by many at the club is that Browning is going to be a more complete CB than Stones. He's positionally better, far quicker (the fastest player on our books apparently) and far stronger in the air. He hasn't got the confidence and ability on the ball that Stones has but let's face it, what does Stones's style with the ball produce in terms of winning, or even not losing, games?
Galloway is closer. And Browning can't play LB was awful against Citch.
He was better than Galloway was.
Stones seems to have become a much better player since he (allegedly) handed in a transfer request.
You'll get the usual two camps forming: those who start making out he was rubbish, and those who seem to revel in misfortune happening to Everton and will make out that we'll never find anyone who can play centreback for us again like Stones did. The reality lies in between. Stones is a very good prem centreback with huge potential but also with weaknesses he needs to iron out such as ball watching at crosses, positioning under long balls, unnecessary hero mode rushing out to wide players when the full back already has them, and a tendency to overplay out the back. All centre backs have their own unique problems though.
he will make it in this league absolutely. He'd need a lot of work to develop the kind of game Stobes had though. To Stones level about from here to the moon
