How do you prepare for a derby?

Thanks to Northumbria Police I usually start drinking at 7am roll on 3 weeks time

I stay calm tbh.

I'm still calm . Just having some tea and toast , then I'll start cleaning the flat . A bit of light dusting
and such . Awaiting an inevitable text from daughter ." Dad I need/ can you take me etc" . Or one from
my probably hungover son ( wedding do yesterday ) " Dad can you pick me up " . They can both koff.

Just shattered the toilet bowl. Thankfully I'm getting a new bathroom fitted next week.

Anyway today I'm taking my 6 year old daughter to her first Derby.

Hoping history repeats itself as I was 6 when I went to my first. 87/88, Sunday 20th March. Wayne Clarke. Nothing more needs to be said.

All I can think of this morning is Daniel Sturridge and that silly dance, before it was Gerrard winning penalties and berating referees. I always think the worse but when we do win it makes it all the sweeter.
