Cant play a high line with keane as he is slower than an oap, got caught out against leicester when vardy missed a sitter.
So no, he is doing better than last season but he is not great

Fortunately., Seamus will be back for this and will cover better than Kenny.

Well I guess that’s half the problem sorted, Marco obviously has Gomes down as a nailed on starter. Looks like Mina is going to have to fight a lot harder for his opportunity. I don’t think injury wise he is that far behind Gomes.
I think his eagerness to get gomes on the pitch highlights how he wants to play. His selection was also largely justified at the weekend.

If Mina isn't as quick as Zouma, then Keane....as we need at least one of them with a bit of pace.

Then again, Zouma and Keane have been very good and he needs to wait for his chance.

Nice problem to have, Gomes showed enough the other day that he should be in the side, we don't have any one else like him who can take it off defenders and actually see whats going on in front of him, if that was a sign of things to come then he'll be a key player when he is match fit. Mina is a bit more difficult as keane and Zouma haven't really done anything to deserve being dropped recently. Long term who knows how Silva will go.

Going on the basis that having your best 11 on the pitch doesn’t always equate to having your best team on the pitch. I hope Marco decide to bring Mina in when he feels he will improve things, rather than because of his price tag or agent crying. I have always belived that if we are run in such a way that no matter how well someone performs they get dropped for one of the stars when that star is fit, then promising young players and squad members will never feel motivated to give their all when they play. I genuinely think that is the problem with ManU at present, Mourhino is notorious for shoehorning his favourites back in even if their replacement is on top form.
