Exactly and that was cover for them without it this season that support is lacking so have to hang back. But in some games McGeady was giving some help but others when Barkers or Rom on the wing , NO or even Mirallas. Deffo down to tactics and/or instruction.
 

Been poor compared to last season but who hasn't? Stones and McCarthy probably the only ones that have kept up last season's standards but they have both had injury disrupted seasons! It's just been a poor season in general for everyone, I would still keep Seamus at the club because I still believe he's the best in the PL in his position.
 
Its alarming how much his form has dropped, confidence just seems to be shot. He rarely tries to beat a man, and if he does it generally breaks down. In fact he has been so sloppy in possession all over the park lately, like at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday night. On a number of occasions he ended up back tracking with the ball instead of going forward and eventually gave the ball away in a more dangerous position. He is looking like a Sligo Rovers player.

But as many have already said, the malaise runs deep this season, with the majority of the squad out of sorts. I blame Ossie...
 
Not having a good season but he's been good defensively and we could have really used him the 1st month. He also can't bomb forward like he used to becasue LOL olds CBs/Barry. Also opponents are just on to him now in the attacking end. You'll notice unless there is help the defenders always play a few yards off because there is little threat of a cross coming in. Almost every single time he takes the ball to around the top corner of the box and cuts left where he's met by 2 defenders waiting for him and easily dispossessed.

He desperately needs to add at least a somewhat decent cross to his game. Maybe Lennon will help give him space and width as well.
