Joking to one side Ghost, Taylor is a tool of great enormity pal. He appeared in Southport a couple of years back and a mate was working on the show..............everyone working behind the scenes couldn't stand the tvvat.

One more thing against darts, Syd Waddle, he just gives me a headache, screaming p rick

Yep, yep, yep.

Agree with every word.

Waddell says things to butter Taylor up, like off the barrell, and on the wire when it was a good 2 inches away.

The under stacker etc....

He's an idiot, although he does say the odd funny thing when Taylor's not on, but when he is, you know he has one hand on the mic and the other somewhere else.

Tell me this about Syd, when will his voice break, the tone of his voice is like nails down a chalk board arghhhhhhhhhhh

So Sky have made him win 14 titles?

No you clown, but they build him up and players who have played superb all week, great averages, good finishing, 180's all over the place - collapse when they play Taylor.

The whole build up throughout the tournament is only about 1 person and 1 person only. Nobody else gets any coverage.

Well then he has a greater mental toughness than the other players, all great Champions have that. Its all about knowing your the best. And to be honest mate, when it comes to throwing darts, its just them and the board, are you saying that Sky talk to them during games?

The media will always latch on to the best players, but he must have won 7-8 titles before he became their idols.

Hes the best cos hes the best, no other factors make a difference. From what ive seen he wins 4-0 5-0 every game. Damn they are good Sky.

I'm not saying he is not a great dart player, probably the best - what I'm saying is the build up he gets is designed to intimidate the opponent who then go up and collapse.

Adrian Lewis was seen as the pretender to the crown and he went up there and missed double after double and missed his finishes. Why? When he wasn't before? Fear.

It's the same reason an average Liverpool side were so formidable at home, reputation and media build up.

Sure the players need to block it out and play the board, and that's down to mental toughness, but it's no way a level playing field, don't care what you say.

My god, I know what people mean when they talk about Ingerland fans. I love England and the football - but singing Ingerland, and there's only 1 Philip Taylor is like an achievement to these whoppers. Yeah well done you ******* idiots.

It becomes less of a sport when the crowd is made up of southern softy chavs dressed up as bananaman.

That's the part of England I do hate, and I tip my hat to you their Chico mate.

Fair play, they're absolute belters, strangely enough following a belter who had his OBE took off him for pesting.

Those type of fans highlight one of the reasons why I can't love England, and a massive shame that behaviour breeds behaviour.

It happens in every sport. You have the Sky 4 in football. St Helens get the luvvie treatment from Stevo, Federer tends to get treated well in tennis, as does (did) Tiger in golf. Likewise its not worth anyone else running the same race as Usain Bolt. Just the way it is.
