How arsed are you about losing to Norwich

I'm really not arsed about losing to Norwich - what I'm arsed about is what that performance represented moving forward, and that's a complete lack of depth to cope with injuries and suspensions over a 38 game season.

So 0% arsed about going out of that cup and 0% arsed about losing to Norwich in it, but 100% arsed about the next three months. The January window is going to be massive, but the hope now is that we can get to it in a league position where we can still compete for Europe.

It's, what, 6 matches to win a cup? BFD. Should have been trying to win something for the first time in absolute ages.

That said, it REALLY is just 'one of them games'. Really emphasizes the lack of depth that should have ben sorted in the window. We have nobody to take Lukaku's place, nobody to take Barkley's place, nobody really to take Stekkers place.

I agree mate. We should be trying to win a cup. We just don't have the staff to do it...we know it...now Ronnie knows it.

Seven over six months. Equivalent to over one extra league game a month.

By going out of it, we now potentially play five fewer games from now until February than a direct rival, which is obviously the equivalent of a month of league games.

As you say, we get two shots in the chamber to win a trophy each year and one of them has just been used to shoot a hole in the floor.

FA Cup to go, and if we go out of that its the fight to secure the best of the rest pat on the head trophy.

For those wondering, this was after Fulham knocked us out and we were on 9 points from 5 games, 2 of those 5 games were against teams who no longer participate in the EPL.
