Went to see this a couple of years back at the library. Great stuff. Used to live in the Sandon in the late 70's as a kid, my mum and dad ran the pub. Can't believe all that history was hidden in the floor boards and was found some years later...gutted!

Wow, what a place to grow up: Everton's first HQ and the centre of some of the early events of the club's history.

sorry yeah, couple of amendments to the original post

it's actually a sort of ledger book that includes the minutes of the meeting where Houlding's demands were discussed

the letter that's there is an original from the EFC board deciding on a vote of no confidence in Houlding

also, it's all on the third floor not the second

I didn't do very well here did I ?

It is a matter of fact, we left and built our own place, GP God bless her, Houlding (spits when saying that name) tried to register a team with the FA with the name Everton, he was told to do one hence the filth were formed. As we are the original for all time Merseyside football team Kopites in origin, are actually lazy swine who could not be bothered to cross the park to watch the best, we are better off with out them.

As for Analfield the first team they ever put out did not have any Englishmen in it, Houlding hired 11 Scots as no Liverpool players would play for him, he was seen as chancer.
