Horror Movies......

As I had said in an earlier thread, I hate horror movies cause they scare the crap out of me. That's not entertaining in my opinion.

(Oh yeah TX Bill, then why are you watching Everton football right now? )

At any rate, John Carpenter's "The Thing" was on TV several years ago and I started watching part of it.

Scared the crap out of me.

I can't get scared in a film these days, at least not in a film that is meant to be scary. The only recent exception was Whatever Happened to Baby Jane with Bette Davis and Joan Crawford. Now that movie really did freak me out.

For me, it isn't so much the movie itself.

It's the turning off the TV and then walking all the way to the bedroom in the dark that's creeps me out.

Not a typical horror, but I am working for a Production House called 'Cherub Pictures' and one of their Directors Nash Edgerton made this short film.

If your squeamish, I would probably refrain from watching. Check out 'Lucky' also, its a great stunt sequence.

Ok, my wife was out last night at a friend's home and the kids were in bed so I turned on the TV to see what was on and lo and behold, I Am Legend was coming on.

So I watched it.

I thought it was ok but I think they could have done so much more with it. Great premise and storyline but I felt a bit empty in the end.

I thought Will Smith did a good job with it though.

Reminded me of Castaway with Tom Hanks but in NYC instead of some remote tropical island.

That was pretty cool, i found it more funny than squeamish though!

Re-animator.

Re-Animator (1985)

No need to continue this thread!!

Unless we're talking Beyond Re-Animator (y)

Possibly one of the stupidest scenes in a horror movie, dont watch if you don't like spiders but do watch if you like cringe-worthy hilariously bad deaths. :
