Home Kit Delay Explained

Bradford, Orient, etc, smaller clubs, smaller orders.

Don't complain that your order of 10,000 souffles hasn't arrived from Sayers yet when Gary from the corner has just bought a box of doughnuts.

The first question I'd ask it, when did we sign the contract? Is this a "rush job", thus putting us back in the queue. While the change from LCS has been mooted for a while, we don't know when that change took place.

I'd rather get facts in front of me rather than blow a fuss. But facts & reality is often in short supply on this forum, which is a shame.

Well, who is at fault for that?

When facts aren't presented, it leaves room for speculation.

In fairness, I think he was referring to LCS here.
I like his honesty on twitter, better than hearing nothing at all.

i read his tweet as saying the Red****es shirt manufacturer was a lesser brand than ours so they could dictate a release date, but because we are with Nike we have to fit into their calendar. as long as he settled for a place in the Top ten and was happy with seventh on the list, at least he would be consistent witht he club culture.
BTW - isnt Naismith wearing the new kit on the promo video for the preseason games on the OS? the day before the 'reveal' - having done some of this brand design stuff that would be a sackable offence for some dufus!!

All three of them have received theirs first, and there are more clubs to add to that list who are all significantly further down in terms of club size than we are.

And by that logic, how on earth are United's kits already shipping ?

Rubbish.

Funny how United & Arsenal don't have the same problems

Oh and the biggest sports manufacturer in the world can't send for massive orders, yeh ok

Could there be a benefit to being near the back of the queue?

Does holding back the home kit increase away shirt sales?

our brand is clearly high on the chinese black market though....as Evertonized showed. BTW as anyone heard from him? I am worried that the cupboard fell on his head

Maybe, but isn't it one of the skills of club director of comms to be clear in his messaging? And it being twitter is no excuse: if he cant master it he shouldn't be director of comms. This isn't the dark ages. He's royally ****ed up twice in one day.

I for one am not giving a known bitter red the benefit of the doubt on today's events.
