Gran Canaria (Tejeda & Maspalomas) if yous like mountains and sand dunes. Waking up before dawn to check out the golden rays shining on the massive sand dunes is special 'n even a little romantic.

Nice one, cheers dude. I've been to Pula for a music festival years ago and seem to remember pebbly beaches to laze on. We love swimming, bathing so would you recommend anywhere in particular for that sort of thing? Krka National Park near the Dalmation Coast looks amazing! Been there?

I'm a bit of a fly and flop bloke in all honesty. National Parks not on my agenda I'm sorry to say.
We were in Porec last year when the music festival was on. You could hardly avoid all types of bands, including Bootleg Beatles absolutely fantastic. Up to now I think Pula is my favourite. The peninsulars that surround the town are great for swimming. Just make sure you wear your beach shoes. The town itself full of history with its own Colosseum and the pubs and dining are ace. Can't speak highly enough of the nation. I was there when Sigurdsson introduced himself to Evertonians when he had that punt against Hadjuk Split. Was made welcome by all.

Key West is the main area where things are going on. Lots of bars with live music etc...
Key Largo does not have much happening unless you are hiring a boat etc...Its just the first Key you come to when driving down.
There is plenty going on along the drive from Key Largo to Key West depending on what you want out of the trip.
Islamorada has more restaurant's and bars then Key Largo and is only about 20-30 miles further on.
From personal experience I would say maybe stop for a couple of nights at various keys on the way to or from Key West but spend most of your time there.

We were there a couple of years ago and if I was going back now I would probably just do a day in Key West and get out again - far too rammed and touristy - but lots to do, restaurants etc., so depends what you‘re after.

Really liked Miami, so would factor a couple of days there if you like cities.

Got bought one of those scratch off maps for Xmas. Made me realise fully how little I've travelled.

Whereabouts in Slovenia you going? Heard the area round Lake Bled is amazing.

We haven't nailed down a spot yet mate as we're looking at turning it into a bit of a walking holiday. My brother went last year so is writing down a few suggestions. Heard it's a very undererrated country.

Going to Vilnius for 3 nights on Sunday and then Stockholm for 4 nights. Will be cold but deffo not heaving with other tourists so we should be able to get around the sights and all that.
