If Lampard is still here in the Summer and still uses them, then I have an issue, right now I feel like it’s a needs must approach for him.
There’s a reason we didn’t have top coaches queuing up to take on the job after Benitez got the sack and this is absolutely the biggest part of the reason. We desperately needed quality center backs in the January window and instead sold our only left back and replaced him with two full back kids, El Ghazi in a position where he’s behind Gray, Gordon, Townsend and Iwobi in the pecking order and Dele who hasn’t fitted into a single formation we’ve played!!!! (VDB sensible loan but ffs the other signings are baffling)
