Well the PL might be the place to be, but surely that's not a good enough selling point when you can play in another of the top 3 European leagues but for a team that placed in the top 4 rather than the bottom 4. It has to be the money and well yeah, that's his choice, I just don't agree with it.

I envy them in a way QPR, being able to spend recklessly, but I stand by what I said. I think it'll all end it tears eventually.

Certain players turned down the chance to play for a team local to him constantly winning or challenging for the Premier league, does well in the cups, a big glamourous side known and respected the world over, to stay at a mid table side with no money who might just scrape into a European spot if they're lucky before getting knocked out of Europe against the first decent side they play.

Thats a more baffling decision that Hoiletts when you look at it.

Baines does have links to the club though and is a family man, who chose to stay somewhere rather than move.

Still baffling, but for completely different reasons.
