Moyes obviously has concerns over gibsons regular fitness if he is looking to sign a free when gibson is only out for 3 weeks

I remember his last game for Aston Villa, it was an away game at West Ham and as a thank you to the fans he gave them all (about 3000) a signed Villa shirt with his name and number on.

yer so good he got released by west ham without playing a game!!!

but hey he's better than neville innit lulzmarathon

come at me bro!!!!!

Really, must of been someone else with the same name and looks when i saw him play for them the last time they was in the prem aye?!.

When fit, he'd be a good option to have IMO. I know West Ham got relegated the season he was there but towards the back end of the season when he'd recovered from injury, he was one of there better players and got the odd goal, and i know that isnt saying much in a relegated side, but he was decent.

To add to the numbers and help out until atleast the end of January so that we can look at other options, maybe Odjidja-Ofoe again or whoever else, then i'd be happy with his signing.

This is why I am suspicious. He has to have some great flaw for no one to have picked him up by now.

Yeah, his injury record. He couldnt avoid injuries and stay injury free as a youngster so he's not gunna miraculously be super fit and not get injuries in his 30's is he, although in the later stages of his career he as seemed to stay fit.

As a short term fix he wouldnt be so bad i don think.

He probably does as he's been struglling with this thigh problem since pre-season. If he's going to be out a while to get it sorted once and for all, then where going to need to add to the numbers as Neville isnt a natural midfielder and can do a job once in a while, but not on a regular basis.

Heitinga is similar, can play well there on the odd occasion but not on a regular basis. So why not pluck for Hitzlsperger on a short term deal, weve nothing to lose and more to gain IMO with this kind of deal.

And people will talk about why let Barkley go then and just keep him, but Moyes knows he isnt ready to step in and play consistantly for us right now and needs this loan deal to help his progression and i agree with him.

Yeah but if you play him at Shef Wed he will make his mstakes and kearn from tgem and not have the same pressure. Its that pressure that can make a young okayer fold. I think Dave Jones will be great for developing him.[/QUOTE

People like you talk about barkley or young footballer's as if they've never kicked a ball. all the talk about making mistakes, as i said before, he won't give the ball away, or [Poor language removed] up attacking moves as much as neville or even heitinga, let the lad play ffs.

D morph, people like me!? People like me have watched him kick a ball plenty of times and seen his head drop when he made mistakes, everyone said how well he played for England this summer and he gave the ball away plenty of times. There is obviously more pressure at your parent club especially a Premier league club. Actually think about what people like me say next time before responding. I want him to succeed as much as anyone but he clearly isnt ready. Unbelievably Neville has one of the highest pass rates so your point there is wrong and Heitinga wont be midfield, hence the look for out of contract players. Confidence is a huge part of developing players and i think this will help him no end.

Another injury or a suspension or two , and moyes can give Neville a New 5 year contract he,s been dreaming of giving him since extending his last one
