Nope - We were getting progressively worse under Martinez and his time was up. Once the rot's set in there's pretty much no hope.

Koeman gave us a bump before sliding again. Martinez probably would not have been able to do that so we'd perhaps be in an even worse position now.

Yes, and the best points total, but hey that’s all been discussed before. It’s a simple poll given the current circumstances.
Personally, I’d rather watch attacking football and hear an over positive manager with nothing but good to say about the Club than have a fraudulent crook dragging us backwards and taking every opportunity to tell us he’s saving us from inevitable relegation.
He hasn't got our record points total.

His act of positivity worn thin when we're getting hammered by Stoke at home and he's saying home phenomenal we are.

With the benefit of hindsight, he should never have been appointed.

Neither should Koeman or Allardyce have been.

Its been downhill since Davey Boy left. We didn't build on the foundations he left.

Spot on, a shame Mosh wasnt here when Moyes went as with the added finances we probably would have built on the foundations whereas luvvy Bill went for the cheap and easy option.

Can't really say we were near to relegation under Koeman, it was 13 games in.

You do know that's Martinez caused the worst home record in our history?

We weren’t near relegation with koeman as it’s not may. And the funny thing is we’re nearer to it now on form and the months ticking buy. With a so called expert! Be careful what you wish for.

Irrespective of what’s happened since I always felt Roberto should have been given a while longer.

He was given too long the absolute fraud of a manager.

Martinez walked away with 10m
Koeman walked away with 6m
Fat head will walk away with about 8m
Apart from the obvious paying out to managers above, they all have something in common.....a top club wouldn't touch any of them with a barge pole.

We've spunked a load on crap players and in manager terms we've spunked even more

once again......I would not be advocating Bobby’s return.

but given the tripe we have had to endure since, I would rather he had been given the money Koeman and now Sam have had.
