Not all that bad Bry. Just think of the money you'll save and the Clarity of Thought you will acheive.

It's strange when you mentioned the symptoms, I thought back to my time in Asia. I was the only westerner in the company, and one thing I realised quickly when I tried to introduce the "Friday beer after work" concept, was how flushed after one drink a lot of my colleagues where. I thought it was down to the jokes I was cracking. No idea what they're bowel movements were like, though to be honest, I'd have put that down to some of the cuisine - certainly did for me a few times.

a bit of understanding ...

So, anyway following many years of ' putting up ' with beer and the consequences of attempting to enjoy it, and never fitting in the bars with the beer boys, i always thought i was different! cos it made me poo loads, and face burn, i just thought it was a beer glow!!

Anyway...

Today i was diagnosed with AFR, which for short is Alcohol Flush Reaction. This basically means i poo and go bright red when i have a bevvy.

I am allergic to Beer! ( Hops actually )

I used to get a splitting headache whilst still drinking, like a hangover and would have to go home. i later found out i had a wheat intolerence and the headache was part of the symtoms. i was having to much wheat. anyway all sorted now, i cut out bread.

Bry, don't find it funny mate, if that was me i'd be destroyed.

Will you be drinking anything else>

My sister has this too , she just takes a load of anti-histmeans ( fk you i cant that ) before a drinking sesh.

4 lagers and a rose for me mate girl. haha only messing Bry. I can only drink 2-3 pints till I'm bloated and onto something else anyway!

It's dangerous stuff. One pint is bad enough but I've actually had a night before when it was all I drank.

I was in some sort of coma for about 18 hours afterwards.

You want to see what it does to Carol Vorderman.......
