Unfairly criticised?

Ive noticed he seems to get barracked from some of our fans yet, though acknowledging his limitations, I think he's a decent player and one who has come in for some unfair stick from certain quarters. In fact, he's ok in my book!

He's played well in the last two games. Petrov and Kranjčar are probably the best two midfielders at City and Portsmouth and he nullified them both. Sure he didn't venture forward too much but his main job is a defender and he's done that really well recently.

I have to say that Hibbert maybe does get unfair stick. My first ever post on here was critsising him before xmas but hes found a wee bit of form. Still has same weaknesses but seems to be working on them.
Although if we can see his limitations then so will UEFA Cup teams and try and exploit it.

His limitations are that bad that Moyes gave him a four year deal a couple of months ago well in Hibbo and you were unlucky to be taken off yesterday mate.

I think he's improved a lot recently. I think since his illness which took him for some time, it knocked his form really badly but now he's getting back to his best.

He does have limitations true, but theres not much better at the sliding tackle than Hibbo.

I thought Neville was our worst player out there yesterday so yeah. I say worst in a not bad kind of a way cos no one was really bad, but I'd choose Hibbo over Neville right now at RB.

Hibbert had everythingto do with Petrov's performance that night, he closed him down even when he never had the ball, denied him time and space for the entire game, Petrov got past Hibbert on one occasion throughout, credit where credit's due eh !

Is it? Thats bad, you have to spot your weak points. Sometimes when we're doing well its easy to forget any poor performances, but I'm 100% certain Moyes will be looking at yestedays game and looking to improve and I'm sure he'll review that match and see that Nevilles game was probably a weak point for us.

Yes, and Hibbert is serviceable. He has his place but I would like an upgrade as the opportunity allows.
