He would have scored, i have no doubt. He only had a goal on his mind. He gets better and better. But its not even Tony Hibbert, its his Cousin from Brazil, ElTonio Hibberterio.
I still can't work out how a player who previously had the passing ability of a rhino, and the attacking flair of tortoise can suddenly become a good "all round" defender.

It must be his twin cousin cause I can't explain the transformation.

God, I swear I saw him do a trick or two.

Tony Hibbert's contribution has been first class since his return from injury, last night just cemented that opinion.Though for a few nervy minutes he looked exposed when Pienaar went off.

Hibbert is great - just gets on with it. A perfect utility player.

I think he gets a bad rap for hoofing it too often, but then he's a defender, what's he meant to do, cruyff flick his way out of trouble and run up the wing like C Ronaldo?

Great great player, hope he develope his "forward play" now that his defensive play is pretty much "there"

Im a Hibbo fan, and strangely i thought it was 50/50 between him and Reira last night i thought he backed of him a lot obviously because Reira has pace but once or twice got caught out but no doubht he was told to push on so thats tactics, i have my own ideas about our width coming from the full backs Vs traditional wingers, frankly id like some to be complemented by attacking fullbacks. I think a little bit to much owness is put on our to attack which at times leaves us vulnerable.

Absolutley supeurb game going forward, whens the testimonial.

I was going to suggest he'd had his hard drive defragged but it's more like he's had a whole new operating system installed and an extra gig of RAM slotted in.
Either that or he's been taking overlap lessons from Baines.
