Hibbert's crosses tonight were pretty darn good. I would have like to have seen what he would have done with the ball when he made that run in the 2nd half before Alonso took him down.

He would have scored, i have no doubt. He only had a goal on his mind. He gets better and better. But its not even Tony Hibbert, its his Cousin from Brazil, ElTonio Hibberterio.

Hibbert for a shock England call-up?!...

One thing that he has working in his favour - who are the other English rightbacks in the Prem?!...

Gary Neville - past it after his long injury, has looked suspect since.
Wes Brown - only just played about 20min since his injury.
Micah Richards - having an absolute [Poor language removed] season.

The only real options are Luke Young & Glen Johnson and Portsmouth's defence has been shocking recently.

Hibbert may be an outside chance.

Hibbert has been playing great defense, which is a fullback's primary role, but he just doesn't seem comfortable with the ball, but still I'm very happy with his play.

Fellaini... well it's evident he is not a striker nor an attacking midfielder, he does not have the skills to play those positions, Fellaini is a box-to-box mid, he win balls, makes the simple pass to start the attack, and then joins the attack, that's how he used to play for standard and that's why he was so successful over there. I think we'll start to see the best from him when he starts playing alongside Arteta.

which brings me the question: If Arteta is stying as a CM and Cahill will be playing behind the striker (Saha or Jo), who will be the other CM, Neville, who has been doing a very good job as our DM or Fellaini ???? or is Moyes going to drop Hibbert and put Neville at RB and Fellaini at CM ??? or is Moyes going to drop Fellaini or Neville ???

Hibbert or Neville at right back is the $64,000 question.

On current form, I'd keep Hibbert at right back, Neville with Arteta at CM and give Fellaini a rest or rotate with Cahill possibly.

It's the only thing I can think of to be honest but it's good that Moyes might have a bit of a selection headache for future matches.

Ive said it before and i will say it again, i dont care who plays at the back. I think all our defenders do a decent job, but clearly the boys with the shirts deserve to keep them. They are wonderful at the moment.
