Was watching

The radio mentioned yesterday about post match analysis of our 4-0 win. Not sure when or where, but it said Terry Henry mentioned what about talking about how good Everton were, turning to Carragher and said you used to be a blue! Anyone seen it or got a clip??

Was watching on Sky when Henry said it to Carragher. Carragher didn't reply but almost admitted he still was by the look on his face.

If I had to guess, I would say he's still on side


BTW, hearing Redknapp say "us" when talking about the RS when the commentators turned to him for an opinion was far worse

Carragher had a long career with Liverpool and it is no surprise that he supports them now, that said he is a decent pundit and his opinons are usually worth listening to.

Sometimes we can be a bit thin skinned when somebody outside of the club criticises us , but, sometimes that criticism is valid.

The pair of them did a cracking analysis of the game on MNF last night.

Carragher is a cracking pundit and he knows the game inside out, I've no issue with him, as he calls it as he sees it, without the obvious snide undertone that you get from the likes of Sourness, Quinn and Murphy.

Know it's been talked about ad nauseam but I'll never get how someone like Carragher can grow up a mad bluenose by all accounts and end up a die hard red. You can play for teams and seperate it, loads of players have shown that. Even Rooney, it's pretty obvious he's still a massive blue deep down. Stayed a blue when he started playing for them. Then his EFC supporting mates started taking the mickey every time they lost, which annoyed him so he committed to the dark side. As said above, Reidy was raised a red, and switched to us. Swapping Reidy for Robbie Fowler seems a good swap to me! McManaman has always stayed a blue, Owen is obviously a RS, it's swings and roundabouts.

Rooney will speak well of both clubs, and I would imagine he would appear more neutral.

Regarding Carragher, once you have allowed the cultist red ways to derationalise your thought process it is almost impossible to get your free thought pattern back. They begrudge everyone else any modicum of success, especially us, and of course United. And they hate money bags Chelsea and City.

Spot on. If you have a spare 5 minutes read a couple of articles from yesterday's echo, firstly Aldridge saying Utd were a disgrace with long ball tactics and Liverpool should have won, and then the tit Walsh saying the RS might have an advantage in the title run in as they have 10 games at home remaining ( Chelsea have 9 and the rest have 8 ).

I honestly try to read such articles to see if I can keep a straight face but I can't, I just think "you tit". It's written for the cult by one of their own because once you are brainwashed in their ways, your basically screwed.
