Hello everyone,

Not sure if this is in the right forum or not, haven't been on here in a while, apologies if it's in the wrong place.

Over the coming weeks & months, I will be writing a book about following the Blues and I was wondering if anyone would like to help me out. I am looking for a few people to answer a few questions to help me compile the book. Depending on which section of the book I will ask for help with the questions will probably be about:

- Favourite home/away game
- What the club means to you
- Favourite Everton related story

Etc etc

If anyone has any good everton related stories I would really like to hear them so if you fancy helping out drop me a message and I can talk to you there.

Obviously anyone who helps out will be credited and featured in the book, and it will become available in some form at some point in the hopefully near future.

Thanks in advance!

Interesting.

Just out of interest do you have a publisher or are you going down the self publishing / eBook route?

E-book at the moment but if I can self publish this book successfully I may look into the possibility of getting it published in a physical format. I am hoping to contact the club to see if someone might be able to help me out with something which might increase the chances of that but that is unlikely.

Sounds great. I wish you luck.

the ferry to rotterdam in 85 being stopped, because we had robbed most of the duty free from the shop, and if i remember correctly a leeds fan being stabbed.

Any European or Australian/Kiwi blues?

Looking for some to write 100/200 words about why they love Everton

Not such a world-shattering story but chatting to Ed Stewart at a local fete that he opened in Eaton Socon (St Neots) and taking him to see Jimmy Husband - who had played with in benefit games in the past - at Jimmy's pub near Bedford

Pitch your idea to John at Empire Publishing, tell him Steve from Wigan suggested you speak to him. They're in the Manchester phone book.

Cheers mate, I looked up the publishers - look like a good shout, will get onto them.

I convinced a die hard, and I mean seriously tough guy die hard Man Utd fan to come into the enclosure to watch the Utd game in 84 (5-0) as the fans in there were fair minded. I have a lengthy version of the story, from the morning pick up to him being carried home comatose before last orders. To say he didn't take it well is an understatement.
