Help for a Non-Scouser , Wool , Everton fan

Ok I am looking for some help with some information. Growing up in the states, and one of the few that is a football fan, I need help. LCAB's Sunday sermon gave me info that I have never had, nor would know.

What are some Book/DVD's/ freaking anything that would really help me get some of the History that I am so lacking.

I need to read a good book and cannot think of anything better than one on Everton history to catch up a little.

Anyone have suggestions?

I have an old book at home, which I think was written for Everton's Centenerary. Decent read.

I think, use the search tool and look through some of L.C.A.B.'s older sunday sermons. You learn a lot from them.

This is a wonderful book. I have this one (different edition, mine has a yellow cover, and IIRC Alex Young celebrating a goal). Covers the whole history of Everton from before our formation to The Moyes era. Very good read.

Although I suggest looking elsewhere for it, it seems a bit expensive on Amazon!!!

*Edit* Had a look....it is Dixie coming onto the pitch......got that one wildly wrong!
