He'll always be a legend...but this doesn't help!

Gary Stevens worked for the Trust I did for a while. Think he left to open his own physio place.
Where are the 80's team now -

Big Nev - self employed
Shaggy Stevens - physio
Psycho Pat?
Know an Uncle of Shag Stevens, told me he is now in Perth Australia

Absolute legend, up there with the Holy Trinity in my book.

It's sad to see he has to (?) make money this way. I think he's too much his own man for it ever to happen , but if Bobby could get him involved with the club again in some way then I'd be made up.

Question 1) Are you really Neville Southall?

Question 2) Really?

Cost me an absolute bomb before eventually finding out he had no contact details for Jason Kearton. I'll doubt I'll ever discover how to get hair colour like Big Jase.

The Australian ledge that is Jason used to live in the street next along to me as a kid. Was quite funnt looking back now that a few players lived by where I lived and they were pretty much normal houses. He was o.k to say hello to, proper boss Barnet as well, think that was when Vidal Sassoon shampoo was top drawer schnizzle that you could only by from your lo cost ( co op couldn't provide it the mad meffs )

He can do what he wants, at least he trying to earn some money, find it sad that he not on a fortune like Alan Hanson.

Somebody of his standing would get fans trying to ask him questions all of the time anyway, which he would never be able to respond to everybody.

May as well charge people for it and be able to go into detail with them.

I saw Nev last week at New Brighton, it was an audience with him and Kev the Rat hosted by John Keith. I know a few others off here went and it was a superb evening. £12 for a couple of hours listening to two legends telling some great stories. Nev is massive and is probably one of the funniest ex-pro's Ive heard talk about his career. Someone in the audience asked him "How did Mark Ward get broken ribs at Bellfield?" Nev said "He chipped me whilst we were training so I chased him, to be fair though I shouldn't have been able to catch him so serves him right!"

It is correct that he works with NEETs (Not in Education Employment or Training) So 'kids that are 15/16/17 and Nev says it is very rewarding, the majority of which haven't got a clue who he is or what he has achieved. HE told of one time when a lad was gobbing off calling him a fat c and what had he ever done, Nev told him to search his name on YouTube, so the kid did and was gobsmacked! Nev says it doesn't bother him when one kid is calling him whatever because he used to have ten thousand people behind him calling him a fat c every week. I think it is great that he is doing something decent instead of ripping TV licence payers off on MOTD like that weasel Hansen.

Met him and Kev afterwards they made sure they signed autographs for everyone that wanted one, I felt like I was 10 all over again (34 now FFS).

In my eyes and at my age he is and always will be a legend and answers all questions on twitter.
