He is a solid defender, but when the ball is in the air, he is not strong. He is far from a crap player, but like everyone else, he just has a weakness, a weakness that is poorly suited for the English game. usually between the rest of the team, like Fellaini, jelavic, Distin, Gibson, jags, he can mark the less dangerous arial threats... He gt exposed against Norwich.
Sadly, this is Howard's biggest weakness too. Thankfully we have a squad that covers this well, but there is a reason we get nervous every corner and free kick...

Heitinga is a better all-round player. Jags is a better defender.
I think this is a myth. Heitinga hoofs more than jags and is a terrible passer of the ball.
Spot on but sometimes its better to have the composure rather than the tackling!

Heitinga can made accurate short pass. Jagielka cannot and **** at doing it.

Heitinga can distribute the ball better if both are doing the same job. His technique on the ball is the best out of the 3 senior CB we have. As I said, Jags is a better defender though.
