He's been all over the place this season IMO.

Trying too hard IMO. Needs to settle down and communicate better.

I think we are conceding more because we are more attacking. Just a thought, also with Fellaini pushed forwards we lose his presence in DM which Nev just can't compete with.
Gibson certainly helps with that though, need him back.
Difficult to judge on the last few games without a decent DM providing some cover.

His positioning/nouse is usually what redeems him to counter his lack of pace, but he's shown neither so far...horrow show against Wigan the other day.

I'm surprised you haven't said "we're conceding more because Walter Smith managed us once".

Indeed... Not quite sure what happened to his form from last season.

He's always crap when he gets dropped then comes back in. He's never looked worse for us. Hopefully a good game against QPR and then business as usual for us against the R/S. I hope it's johnny and the jag for that.

His confidence must have been dented; he finished ast season looking like an amazing centre back and there has been talk of Everton trying to shift him; then the new season starts and he gets dropped. Its a bit unfair on him I think, I love Heitinga, he's an amazing defender and deserves more credit from Moyrs.

Everyone goes through bad patches, but he;d be my first choice, the other 2 are the ones who should fight it out
