I thought that the club was still actively looking to sell him (so says someone on here but I cant remember who) if that is the case I don't think that he'll be the next captain, unfortunately

I haven't said it on here but I think they were certainly exploring that possibility , of he doesn't have any interest in a new deal we probably should be looking into it to be honest

I love him again, 2010-11 he was a right [Poor language removed] though...

I know what you mean, but would you want to come back from a World Cup final and sit on the bench at a team outside of the Champions league?

You've got a point like, but he still he acted like an unprofessional pansy (that "tackle" against DJ Campbell still makes my blood boil) until someone made him buck his ideas up.

Brought it back in style though, played Johnny.

Hopefully John isn't the sort of player who'll let a poor tournament effect him, because you know, he did have a poor Euro 2012. Even those with the most blue-tinted specs will have seen that.

We need him playing with the same confidence he finished off with domestically.

I think of him shoulder barging Ashley Cole in the penalty shoot out when I fap

Oh...that deserves another showing!

Jagielka and Johnny should be starting for us, they're hopefully going to be our stable partnership at the back for a few seasons and although i love Distin i think that's currently more important long term.

I definitely think his attitude has changed a huge amount this season. He certainly looks a lot more up for it and there’s a desire inside him that wasn’t there before. I’d have Jags as captain over him as I think he sometimes goes missing when under pressure but he’s still class like. Never get him on the shirt though, Jellyman 7 all the way!
