The former ajax player is looking forward to act at top level

Doesn't look too threatening, typical quote by player these days, trying to not burn other bridges.

You forget the bit that doesn't make it as "controversial", which is along the lines of:

"But I have a four-year contract without a release clause with Everton and that club is a place which suits me particularly well."

The fact of who is actually reporting it... also throws doubt on any comment ever being made by Heitinga at all.

I've just got me Grandson a Dutch Heitinga shirt . Archie is 1 .

I expect him to see Johnny H IN THE FLESH for us , in , oh , 2 years or so .

I find it quite flattering that Moyes has bought these players and brought them through at Everton and then they get linked to other clubs etc. It shows what a superb Manager we have.
As long as they dont leave I dont care who gets linked to who.
