Player Valuation: £950k
Gone away with the dutch squad, and the minute he's off the plane, he's publicly questioning Moyes' decision for leaving him out at the start of this season. I've lost count of the times he's done this, or talked up a potential move away from the club whenever he's been made to look like a squad player, rather than the indispensible talent he seems to think he is. He'll have a year left on his contract at the end of the season, and i for one, wouldn't consider renewing it.
In short, get rid!

He is a quality defender and has every right to be frustrated not to be in the team given his form last year. Sell him? Thats crazy talk, you can't get much better for under £10 million

Being honest, i questioned Moyes' decision to leave him out for the United game but Jagielka and Distin proved Moyes decision to be right. After that performance there was no way he was going to start against Villa, think we all agreed on that and again, they were quite solid together. However, the defensive display against West Brom was shocking so i would be surprised if Heitinga starts against Newcastle. Like everyone else in the squad, he has to be patient, we are starting to get genuine quality in depth now and its brilliant to have!

Sorry but what a pile of sh*te.

Player of the year last season, yet he's dropped for the start of this season and gets 5 minutes in centre mid at the end of games? I'd be fuming too.

But no, lets let him go on a free when one of other centre halfs only has probably a season left, and another is still an unproven kid.

Jesus wept.

Oh give it a rest. Getting tired of people getting their knickers in a twist over stuff like this..

How many times does the man have to say he a) is very happy at the club, and b) will fight for his place in the side before people get off his back??

He was our player of the season last term, justifiably, so maybe he has a point regardless?
