I suppose it depends on your post count. The more you post, the greater your player value increases. That's how it seems to work to me.But how in the heck do you get a higher player valuation ?? I've always wondered how some are in the millions

You must post a lot then lolI suppose it depends on inyour post count. The more you post, the greater your player value increases. That's how it seems to work to me.
I got bored after a few pages.Just read through pages 6 - 10 and maybe it's me, but I still can't see one single post claiming that Carlo Ancelotti (or any potential manager) was under pressure to either accept Ferguson or not be appointed.
Yes, absolutely loads of laughable conjecture there. lolI got bored after a few pages.
All the following are in relation to Duncan being here cos of Bill, not on merit.
I’ve voted no. Much as I love Duncan, I don’t think the club should be keeping him there and forcing him onto other managers.
If the new manager retains Ferguson, you'll now that the forces of conservatism (they would argue 'community') have won this battle in a longer war for control of the club. The soft power wielded by the CEO and Kenwright would have won out over the hard power of the material owners of the club, Moshiri and Usmanov. For now..
If him being forced upon a manager causes ill will or makes the manager not want to take the job then he needs to go.
I wouldn’t be so sure about that. Everton do stupid things and pushing for Dunc to stay on staff isn’t outside the realm of stupid
…unless you know something different, we really don’t know if every manager & player enjoys working with him. He’s certainly not universally popular at USM FF.
I can assure you if you wanted a pay day you’d make some concessions and having Dunc on staff may very well be one of them.
Managers are accommodating him rather than working with him
Benitez would have agreed to anything to take the job which is why he's got the job.
Nuno was pretty much offered the job and then next thing it's briefed that Ferguson must be kept on as first team coach and then Benitez emerges as the front runner.
Carlo was here for the money. If agreeing to Dunc meant his son could be a coach as well earning millions then all the better.
Allardyce got to appoint Sammy Lee as his sidekick so a kept a blue on for good graces.
Spot on this. A major reason we got Benitez was because Nuno wanted his own crew in and that meant the clique were out.
I like Duncan but his continued presence has become a farce that stinks of Bill Kenwright
He was given a job at the Club because he was skint and on his lasties. He wasnt employed by the Club originally because of his skills as a coach.
If he wasnt Duncan Ferguson he’d have been binned with the previous Managers along with the other staff.
Like Carlo Ancelotti took the job under pressure to have Duncan as his Right hand man, it's laughable to believe its true
“Carlo was here for the money. If agreeing to Dunc meant his son could be a coach as well earning millions then all the better.”Yes, absolutely loads of laughable conjecture there. lol
However, I initially replied to your post below (which I fully agree with BTW)
I was just pointing out that not one poster has actually said "Carlo Ancelotti took the job under pressure to have Duncan Ferguson as his right hand man"
I still doubt that anybody would actually believe that. lol
I think the following from wiki blows your comment out of the water mate sorry...
When Shankly retired in 1974,
- Paisley proceeded to win six league titles and three European Cups to become the most successful manager in the history of the club.
- Joe Fagen took over, and continued the Boot Room tradition, and winning a treble of League, European Cup and League Cup in his first season. He again guided Liverpool to a European Cup Final.
- Dalglish led the club to a League and FA Cup double
He can't spell 'Fagan'. Probably is a thick RS.We? Lol that's a good one.Nine league titles to Spurs two would suggest we are quite a bit better. I think it's accepted, by the posters on here who are actual Everton fans, that a new stadium with bigger capacity, and more modern and updated corporate facilities, is badly needed to help the club generate the revenue, to compete with our competitors. Of course someone, who is a kopite pro Benitez pr spin doctor would say otherwise, and put a more shall we say negative slant on it.
I think we are singing from the same song sheet here.“Carlo was here for the money. If agreeing to Dunc meant his son could be a coach as well earning millions then all the better.”
Yeh, ? it’s kind of obvious when you think about it.I think we are singing from the same song sheet here.
I believe that Carlo was asked by the club if he would keep Ferguson. I don't believe for one minute that it would have been any sort of a 'deal breaker'. lol
If Carlo had said "no" then it would have been bye bye Duncan and welcome Carlo.
Agree with everything , apart from including Moyes in this.He was hired because he didn't demand twelvety of his own staff and a massive transfer budget. He probably gave the better answers in the interview process too, just like you would expect from a man with that experience and most of all it's not that hard too look the best when your rivals are Potter, NES, Moyes and Eddie bloody Howe.
I am fighting myself not to mention something that would get me permabanned. How much grooming does one man need to take on the role?
Personally I think it's not a good approach. If he's not ready for Everton and there are doubts about his capabilities, he should go and actually manage elsewhere. Earn his spurs, make mistakes, see if he has what it takes.
No, no idea what you could possibly mean lol.I am fighting myself not to mention something that would get me permabanned.
