Vote labour! I've lost faith but lets face it, if we don't vote for them, the orrible toffs with no idea what its like to work or struggle, those born with a silver spoon in their mouths, will get in :-(

No

Most employers want to do the right thing however other pressures can get in the way of Health and Safety production etc etc

Construction is very very high risk and my experience is that enforcement is critical in reducing accidents and ill health the tory plan to take away the right of enforcment officers to do their job in certain situations is scandalous


Dont forget HSE inspectors have the power to save lives by issuing Prohibition notices to stop work where there is a risk of serious personal injury

Nothing like a bit of indulging in stereo-types, eh? I have to admit I do admire folks like Tony Bliar who mange to pull themselves up from nothing -y'know, real salt of the earth types! :lol:
