I remember watching a Serie A game, Juve brought their reserve keeper on and Liam Brady who was on the mic said that he was made up as the guy had been there since he was there (about 12 years I think) and this was the 1st time on the field of play for the 1st team, consumate pro and all that, 1st in training last to leave etc. When he came on his 1st task was to defend a corner, seconds later he was on the deck with a broken ankle/leg and the stretcher bearers were back to scoop him up. Brady was speechless ...... I couldn't speak for laughing or see for tears.
