Have we had a player as dirty as Suarez?

as statistics go at the moment fellaini is well dirtier. suarez will be happily playing for his team at the weekend while fellaini is banned

We have had cynical dirty players who could retaliated if need be in the Cattrick era - Johhny Morressey, Leeds players were so aware of him he was alledgedly in Jack Charltons back book to nail him first! Sandy Brown was a hard player too - He stood or took no crap of any opposition player. hard men in a diferent era not to be compared with stamper from over the park!

There's lot's not to like about Suarez. It started with his ridiculous diving along with the screwed up face as he collapsed, often
grabbing a part of his body that hadn't been touched. OK, we paid the price when Rodwell was sent off, but usually it's just irritating watching him get away with it, whoever they're playing. He's still doing it, but now he's given us a new reason to hate him. Apparently he was dirty at Ajax, but those stamps on Mirallas, Distin and the Wigan player were just filthy and dangerous. Snapped archilles and broken metatarsils are season ending stuff, and he keeps getting away with it. For anyone who thinks any of it is accidental, why did he halve the length of his stride when he stamped on Mirallas? It was because he knew exactly what he wanted to do. I suppose he's bound to get caught eventually, but the worrying thing is, he's such a good footballer. How good could he be if he got all that crap out of his game?

It just needs the manager of each team who is playing RS for the next few weeks to say in the pre-match press conference that they are hopeful that none of their players will get snapped ankles and the media presure will build.

And as we all know from the Wenger/Andy Johnson affair, when the paymasters in the media start talking about it, the refs duly oblige.

This annoys me so much...I know Fellaini can be a bit lazy with his elbows, but definitely no where near as dirty as Suarez...however, according to cards and bans go, Fellaini is dirtier.

LFC are the footballing equivalent of Lord McAlpine.

L McA accused the media of calling him a paedophile (when they didn't). They were so scared they gave him a load of OUR money and backed off out of fear.

LFC have been using the same 'conspiracy' tactic and the refs have been scared to do their jobs properly as a result. The media (especially the paedophile-stuffed BBC) are bending over backwards to cover up the way they play (or rather cheat through) the game.

Van den Hauwe and Rioch are the most cinical players I've seen in an Everton shirt, the difference between them and sewerez is that they could take it as well as dish it out.

We've had some hard and nasty players but I can't think of anyone in English football so willing to try to end a player as this guy.
An elbow in the face is gonna hurt.. especially from the likes of Fellaini or Big Dunc but you'll be play the rest of the game and hurt for a few days.. Occasionally a player will try to take someone out.. Keane for example.. but its pretty much a one off.. Suarez is happy with you out for as long as he can get away with. And he does it week in, week out.

Imagine Van den Hauwe playing against suarez. the little sewer rat wouldn't know what hit him.

I remember when we bought Pat from Brum they had the likes of Harford,Coton,Dennis,Blake etc and thinking whats Kendall done here?,but what a fantastic buy he was!!!

Unfortunately Suarez is a clever little snide, keeping it low & not obvious at full speed, going for the foot/ankle not the shin/ knee & not with a lunge but in his stride.Utter dirty bsstard. The one against Wigan is evil.
Our "lovable rogues" were always totally blatant & can you imagine Dunc,Andy G.,Pat vdh, etc throwing themselves to the floor squealing like a girl?
I packed up playing in the early nineties & the last thing you'd do back then was show you were hurt.Man up you football pussies ffs.

He's perfected the innocent look now every time he deliberately tries to injury an opponent. Perfect example when he stamped on Distin's achilles in the derby, hands out pleading innocence literally upon contact. Referees fall for it every time.
