He was never a dirty player, he just refused to take crap from anyone. There was nothing sly about what he did, it was the complete opposite.

This. Dunc would give someone a dig but he'd do it in front of the ref. That's why he was sent off so many times. He certainly wouldn't try to maim someone and then fein injury himself. And as fans we never tried to justify his behaviour saying he was an innocent victim.
That's the big difference between us and them on and off the pitch

But certainly not at Everton I don't think. I'm under no illusions that Dunc etc. were horrible [Poor language removed] and dirty thugs at times. But it was an honest thuggery. You knew what you were getting with Dunc and the likes and I don't think that would ever include biting a player, racism, diving or petulance quite at the extent of Suarez'.

I've never actively hoped for an injury to any player but I genuinely hope someone snaps his legs in half. Because it's going to happen to an opposition player if there isn't a pre-emptive strike.

No, not in the same league. We've had irritants, like Cahill, Fellaini and Heitinga now for example, but nobody like Suarez.

Just saw another awful stamp from Luis Suarez on the highlights of today's game vs. Wigan. I'm a relatively new Evertonian and was wondering if we've had any that played like him. If so, were you conflicted about cheering him on? I think I would be if I were a red__t_ supporter these days.

cant think of any really as bad, we have had plenty of hard players. and a few who were a bit dirty, Gray, Ross,Kidd, Cahill, Rioch,Clemets but i cant think of one as much of just being a plain **** as him, and squeals like a girl when he gets it back, he would have lasted about five minutes with the likes of Pedgic, not one to wish ill on any player but cant wait till he gets his , and one day he surely will

It bothers me that he deliberately done Mirallas and none of our players done him back.

Players like Keane, Reid, Viera and even the likes of Shearer would have snapped the little rat.
