Have we had a player as dirty as Suarez?

Just saw another awful stamp from Luis Suarez on the highlights of today's game vs. Wigan. I'm a relatively new Evertonian and was wondering if we've had any that played like him. If so, were you conflicted about cheering him on? I think I would be if I were a red__t_ supporter these days.

Thanks in advance for the history lesson...

bit
We have a couple now it would seem. Andy Gray and Pat Van Den Hauwe were a bit feisty, Norman Whiteside also springs to mind

Suarez this season seems to have systematically targeted the oppositions better players. I know the Terry incident looked like an accident but I don't buy it.

He's a snide.

I would not be happy if he was in our team, I haven't seen the highlights yet, but I wouldn't be surprised if the player he stamped on was having a good game or was one of their better players.

We've had plenty of players who would take no sh1t, could dish it out, when required, but none I think, who couldn't take it as well.

There were a few, who before they came and after they left, were dirty bast*rds

But in a Blue shirt were hard but fair.

Nobody in this Club, past, present or future is within a country mile of that evil little gobsh*te

Not now

Not ever

NEVER!

(end of )

And the sad thing is he is a very good player who I would have in a second if not for the baggage he comes with and being a RS

When I find out how to put a witty remark or inspiring quote at the bottom of my posts it will say...

RS; you always get exactly what it says on the tin

What degsy here says. We have players who are badasses, but they're not anywhere close to the sort of dishonest and cruel demeanor of thar rat-faced khuntpuncher.

jeez, no one in the league has had a player as dirty as suarez never mind just everton, LFC have come close, every team built at anfield has had its main filthy cheat who gets away with it- gerrard, souness etc.

I've yet to see a player in the premier league with the horrible combination of being dirty and sly which Suarez has, in that he so often deliberately tries to injure opponents with sly little stamps. I'd never normally celebrate someone getting injured but he's definitely an exception, heven't seen anyone ever deserve it more.

Also, seeing as there were not even a foul given against him last night, could the FA punish him retrospectively?

Going way back, a certain Mr. Bobby Collins, for a small guy, was not averse to a sly step on an opponents ankle...or worse, But in those days even a free kick was hardly ever given. Was it Tommy Banks who used to say to Malcolm Barrass(at Bolton) 'You kick him over to me and I'll finish him off' ?

almost right mate, it was Wilf Cheffingly who said that to Barrington `Dasher` Dale (at Wanderers)
